The shoes arrived quickly but my return was delivered 10 days ago, and I have gotten no word of them initiating the return or even to say the received the item. I have reached out 3 times now (two emails and one insta DM) and still have received no response. Be wary when purchasing items that you possibly would need to return!!
I sent in a return and haven't heard back in a month and a half. It seems like everyone else has the same review: they have terrible (or non-existent) customer service. I just wanted to get store credit too.

I bought some sneakers online on sale in Veja Store and after 5 days they tell me that the model of my purchase is not available. They refund my money but they do not give me any discount option for another product or another product of my size. They end up telling me that it is normal that products that appear on the web do not have availability and that they are sorry.
Bought the Veja Campo. Look great for all of five minutes. Treated these so carefully and wore for ‘best’ but still they became shabby and fell apart after just a handful of wears. Not worth it which is a shame as still love the look of Veja products.
Poor customer service. Returned trainers on the 6th January, emailed them after 4 weeks and only just recieved a refund because the product is FINALLY back to the factory -notified only via a automatically generated email. Email communications previous to this were full of 'hope you've had a great day' but failed to address the issue of 'why is my return/refund taking so long'. Quite frankly a return shouldn't take 6 weeks, and what happened if the return had never arrived back to veja? Would it have been 'have a great day...let's keep waiting'. I couldn't believe that I was never reassured, given a time scale or just issued a refund due to mere inconvenience of waiting 6 weeks to get my money back! So frustrating!

I returned shoes that were too big via Vejas return courier. 23 days on I am still waiting for a refund.
They have replied to my correspondence but still no refund.
Only order from veja if you are sure of your size!
Ordered shoes on 12/18 for a Christmas gift , received them but they were way too big. Returned on 1/9, since then, you have received the product back in your warehouse. I contacted you already to inquire about my credit but have heard nothing yet from you. This is my second attempt to get my full refund.
Unfortunately one of the worst online experiences.
You'd think with such a popular brand with a great concept and marketing behind it, that is in Nordstrom, and other big online retailers, that you could trust and rely on their own e-commerce store and customer service. Well, unfortunately, that isn't the case. Veja online is the worst. I ordered 4 pairs of sneakers (on one order), and it took over 2 weeks for 2 pairs to arrive. One pair didn't fit, so I asked to process a return. After days of communication I was told I can request the return through their online portal under my orders page - this was impossible to do on the US site. There were no options for returns or cancellations. After more communication I was finally sent a return label to use. At this time, I also inquired about my other pairs that hadn't shipped. I was given the runaround and after over a month I was pleading for them to cancel and refund the other two pairs that hadn't shipped.
Here's the breakdown of the timeline:
- ordered 4 pairs on Veja Store (US) online on Dec 24, 2020 for late Christmas gifts
- confirmation on Dec 30th that my order was on the way
- January 8th half of my order arrived (2 pairs of 4 pairs)
- January 8th I request to return 1 pair that didn't fit
- January 13th I am finally sent a label to return the wrong size
- January 8th - 29th I am sending constant communication to cancel the remainder of the order and process a refund
- January 30th my refund is finally processed (not showing in bank for another 5 business days)
Essentially, this full charge was already processed and paid for on my credit card before receiving any refunds.
It took over a month to order and keep 1 pair of shoes out of 4, and the pair I am keeping BARELY fit me (still too tight). The other pairs that were meant as gifts never arrived or didn't fit. If you support Veja, please DO NOT support them directly unless you want constant headaches, slow communication, excuses, and a product that does not at all live up to the hype or price tag.
I’m still waiting for a returns label over 72 hours after requesting. Veja - please can you provide this (order no 10000002971). I have checked my spam and no sign of it.
Update: I got the returns labels after chasing multiple times over a week. I really hope I’m not going to experience the problem with refunds that others have.
To all you out there who are suffering to get a refund from Veja. Do not waste time with that. If you are from Europe, simply go to your European consumer centre (ECC) or write them and describe problem. Also let the Veja know you handed problem to ECC. That is what I did and in few days I received my refund. They got scared because they knew what they are doing is not legal. You must get full refund includind shipping costs within 14 days from receiving shoes. Otherwise, I would not recommend buying Veja at all. They look great, but quality is really poor (Veja you gotta do something about those laceholes) and they are really stiff on foot. And I like my shoes perfect right out of box. Like Adidas or New Balance.
I bought a pair of V-10s about a month ago and I'm very happy with them so far! The ethics and sustainability of most shoe companies are questionable at best, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn about Veja's business model and wanted to see how the shoes compared to other brands. My partner ordered a pair of Veja's a few weeks before me and she loves hers too. They were delivered exactly when I was told they would be too.
The only (somewhat) negative thing I will say is that they take a bit of time to wear in compared to other runners/sneakers/trainers, as the leather tongue is a bit stiff at first. I think this may be why some people on here are complaining that they are uncomfortable. It doesn't bother me at all, I just wore mine around the house for a few days to break them in and now they fit perfectly!
I bought these shoes after some friends recommended them as a sustainable brand, I was very excited about them but found they were such poor quality. I am a size 4 always without fail yet these shoes were way too small for me, I couldn't return them because there was so much blood after staining the shoes, and then when I tried to wash them to at least sell them on the blue dye/ ink on the shoes bled everywhere and ruined them even further. They have been sitting in a cupboard now unable to be used. For a brand that's aim is to be sustainable they need to sort out the quality and sizing so people don't just discard them and waste their money.
Edit: Yes of course your poor communication and product design and quality are my fault at the consumer. No mention here of why wiping the shoes with a wet cloth once lead to the dye bleeding or why your sizes are not matching industry standards.
